When thou passest through the waters, I will be with thee; … Isaiah 43:2

Make yourself a cup of tea or coffee. Pour it into a pretty cup. Be good to yourself for just a little while. Grab your Bible. Get comfortable; we are about to do battle with discouragement. How often can we go to war with a cup of coffee in one hand, or tea, and a Sword in the other? It can be fun being a girl. When in the throes of despair, we need to be vigilant with our mind so that the adversary cannot weaken our spirit, allowing us to be cast into depression. I know; the adversary has had me by the proverbial throat a few times, but Greater is He that is in me! I am still standing.

  8. God allowed this into my life. This means He intends to use it for our good, even if someone else did not. (Romans 8:28)
  9. My experiences can help others. Okay. So this may not help today, but tomorrow is not so far away. I must get ready to comfort someone. (Psalm 18:2)
